M2 irons (2016)
The original M2 generation, with a V-shaped cavity badge. Its wedge specifications differ from the 2017 M2.
M2 irons (2017)
The second M2 generation, identified by the manufacturer's Face Slot design and fin-style cavity badge.
M4 irons (2018)
The 2018 M4 generation. Its familiar 28.5° 7-iron loft does not make it the same head as an M2.
Finding the right record
The family name and generation must both match. A reused name such as M2 can refer to different heads. A Titleist generation code such as 710 or 712 is an identification label, not proof of an individual club's manufacture date.
Read the build notes alongside the table. Standard shaft lengths, custom orders and later modifications can all affect the clubs in a used set.
