How to identify this generation
- Check for the Tour marking beside M2 and compare the compact cavity with the dedicated Tour sheet.
What to notice in the specifications
- The 30.5° 7-iron and 45° PW differ from ordinary 2016 M2’s 28.5° and 43.5°.
- M2 Tour’s 7-iron length is 36.75 inches and its range starts at 3. Do not use the ordinary M2 table for a Tour head.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
Read our loft guide for a worked example of comparing the numbers, and our used iron checklist before relying on a seller's description.
