Adams irons, generation by generation.
Read archived Adams Golf charts for the Idea Pro, Pro Gold, Pro Black, Pro Black CB1 and Pro a12 forged sets, the Idea a3, a3OS, Tech a4, a4OS, a7, Black CB2, CMB and Super S game-improvement sets and the Redline irons. This is the current collection, rather than a complete history of every Adams iron.
Adams iron sets at a glance
Adams sold most Idea sets with hybrids in place of the long irons, so a chart starts where the irons start and the hybrid rows are quoted in the notes. The generation label is the year of the archived adamsgolf.com page, not a release year; Adams reused Idea, Pro and Tech across several heads, so match the full name and the badge in the photo.

Listed clubs show the manufacturer's specification range, not the contents of every retail or used set. Model years are shown only where the source states one. Equal loft does not establish equal carry distance or fit.
To see how these lofts compare with other brands and with older sets, read our 7-iron loft study. Not sure which of these sets you own? Narrow them down by name, era or 7-iron loft with the Adams iron year finder.

Finding the right record
The family name and generation must both match. A reused name can refer to different heads. A generation code or archive year is an identification label, not proof of an individual club's manufacture date.
Read the build notes alongside the table. Standard shaft lengths, custom orders and later modifications can all affect the clubs in a used set.
