How to identify this generation

What to notice in the specifications

  • Titleist’s table runs from the 1-iron (40 in, 16°) to a 55.5° SW (12 clubs) with D1 swing weights, offsets from .320 in to .090 in and bounce from 6° to 12°.
  • Titleist’s separate DCI 822OS Ladies page lists a 3-iron to SW set with the same lofts (plus a 50.5° GW), lies from 60° to 64°, lengths 1 in shorter (36 in 7-iron) and C7 swing weights.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.

Read our loft guide for a worked example of comparing the numbers, and our used iron checklist before relying on a seller's description.
