How to identify this generation
- TUNGSTEN lettering sits at the upper toe, a large PXG logo beside a round weight screw fills the back, and the pictured hosel reads 0311P GEN7.
What to notice in the specifications
- PXG labels the wedges “W”, “G”; they are shown as PW, GW here so they line up with other sets.
- PXG’s GEN7 page also lists 0311 XP GEN7 specifications; that head has no separate product photo on the page and is not included here.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
Read our loft guide for a worked example of comparing the numbers, and our used iron checklist before relying on a seller's description.
