How to identify this generation
- DYNAPWR lettering runs across a dark upper band, with FORGED near the heel, PKR-CUP on a lower insert and a Wilson shield badge low on the toe side.
What to notice in the specifications
- Wilson marks the 3, 4 clubs with an asterisk without explaining it beside the table; treat them as an optional or limited-availability part of the set.
- Wilson’s page sells this head with steel or graphite shafts; this chart is the steel-shaft page, and the graphite page was not separately checked.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
Read our loft guide for a worked example of comparing the numbers, and our used iron checklist before relying on a seller's description.
