How to identify this generation
- Match the MB back marking and 718 hosel code; the 718 CB cavity is a different head.
What to notice in the specifications
- The shared 718 table shows a dash for the MB 2-iron and both W columns. Those missing options are not published as MB rows here.
- CB and MB share the 718 loft sequence from 3 through P. Equal angles do not make their heads interchangeable.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
