How to identify this generation
- A black-finished head with a cobra wordmark on the upper back and a KING TOUR badge at the lower toe.
What to notice in the specifications
- Cobra’s archived 2023 KING Tour page (January 2023 capture) lists the same lofts, lies and lengths; this black version is a finish of that design, so a chrome 2023 KING Tour should match this chart too.
- Cobra marks left-hand availability with an asterisk; its footnote says LH is custom only.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
Read our loft guide for a worked example of comparing the numbers, and our used iron checklist before relying on a seller's description.
