Identifying the right model

  • A cavity-back head with CBZ lettered low in the cavity below a script Cleveland logo; loft and bounce are stamped on the toe.
  • Check the stamped loft with the grind and bounce markings. A shared loft does not establish the same sole configuration.

What to check before using the reference

  • Several lofts come with both Traditional and Full-Face grooves, and the sole grind and bounce can differ between them. Check the groove pattern on the face as well as the stamped loft.
  • The table marks some left-handed options with an asterisk without a visible key; confirm left-handed availability with Cleveland.
  • Cleveland sells the head in Tour Satin finish. A finish does not change the published specifications, so finishes are grouped in this record.
  • Lengths are Cleveland’s standard steel builds. Custom length, lie and loft adjustments and graphite shafts change the build.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
