How to identify this generation
- Check for AP1 and 718 branding on the head against the official product page.
- Do not use AP2 or AP3 figures simply because they appear in the same 718 family chart.
What to notice in the specifications
- Its 7-iron is one degree stronger than AP1 716 in the published tables.
- The P, W and W2 lofts are 43°, 48° and 53°.
- The official 718 availability note starts AP1 at 4-iron.
What the chart cannot tell you
A loft figure alone does not predict carry distance or determine a suitable fit. Head design, shaft, strike, swing speed and delivery also matter. Check actual loft and lie with a qualified fitter when a used set's history is uncertain.
