How to identify this generation
- Confirm AP1 and 712 rather than assuming every AP1 shares one specification table.
- Compare the head to the linked Titleist archive; a shaft label alone cannot establish generation.
What to notice in the specifications
- The standard 7-iron loft is 33°, the same value shown for AP1 710.
- Matching factory angles do not make two generations identical in construction.
- Titleist labels the last two rows P and W; the P row appears as PW here.
What the chart cannot tell you
A loft figure alone does not predict carry distance or determine a suitable fit. Head design, shaft, strike, swing speed and delivery also matter. Check actual loft and lie with a qualified fitter when a used set's history is uncertain.
