Identifying the right model

  • A grey sole with blue accents carries a PING wordmark running toward the toe and a blue G badge.
  • Match the full model name and any suffix (MAX, LST, SFT, HL, Stretch) on the head as well as the printed loft.

What to check before using the reference

  • PING’s live US site no longer lists this model; the figures come from an Internet Archive capture of PING’s US page dated 2019-08-18.
  • PING’s G400 hybrid page publishes the same head table, but the heads are different models. Use the model name on the head, not these numbers, to tell them apart.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
