How to identify this generation
- A large X-shaped badge in a dark blue cavity carries the Callaway Golf logo, with the club number on the toe.
What to notice in the specifications
- The figures come from an Internet Archive capture dated 2015-07-13 of the X-18 specification data on Callaway Golf Pre-Owned, Callaway’s own certified pre-owned store. The photo is from Callaway’s 2006 US site, which listed the X-18 in its iron line; neither date is a release year.
- Callaway’s Women’s X-18 table keeps the same lofts and lies with shorter lengths (36" 7-iron, 34" PW and wedges).
- The X-18 Pro Series is a different head with its own Callaway listing; it is not covered by this chart.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
Read our loft guide for a worked example of comparing the numbers, and our used iron checklist before relying on a seller's description.
