How to identify this generation
- An all-black gun-metal head with C300 above FORGED at the upper toe, a raised W/S shield in the middle of the cavity and FLX FACE lettering low in the cavity.
What to notice in the specifications
- Wilson shows this table as an image on the page; the values were transcribed from it. It lists every club, 4-iron to GW, for right-handed players only.
- This is the gun-metal finish of the C300 Forged. No archived chart for the chrome C300 Forged was found, so the table is not confirmed for chrome heads.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
Read our loft guide for a worked example of comparing the numbers, and our used iron checklist before relying on a seller's description.
