Identifying the right model

  • A chrome cavity wedge with Tour Edge EXOTICS in the centre, an orange winged W with WINGMAN at the toe, VIBRCOR on a black panel near the heel beside a round screw, 56 8 F/S stamped on the sole and FORGED on the hosel.

What to check before using the reference

  • Three grinds are published: M/N (50–60°, 10° bounce), S/D (50–60°, 12–14° bounce) and F/S (54–60°, 6–8° bounce); the page lists the wedge as right-hand only.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
