Identifying the right model
- A 3-iron with a U·505 badge in a polished recess at the heel end of the back, a Titleist script toward the toe and FORGED lettered on the hosel.
What to check before using the reference
- Titleist’s 2021 table heads the length row “Length (Hybrid Graphite Shaft)”; the 1-iron (16°, 60°, 40.25 in) is U·505 only, while the T200 Utility Build row starts at the 2-iron.
- Titleist’s 2023 and 2025 U·505 pages publish the same four lofts, lies and lengths for the later heads.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
