Identifying the right model
- The sheet's hero shows the red Spider ARC from behind: a red triangular top with a black carbon-fibre panel carrying Spider script and an ARC ring, set inside a black stainless ring that forms the rounded rear of the head with two screws, a white TaylorMade mark on the toe side of the ring and the black shaft entering on the heel side.
What to check before using the reference
- Red and Silver are finishes of the same head: single bend hosel, face balanced, 360 g, three sightlines on top plus a connect-the-dot cup alignment at the rear.
- TaylorMade names a 3.65 in heavy stainless ring around an aluminium body and a black-finish shaft; the sheet carries a 2017 copyright line and is filed under 2018.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
