Identifying the right model
- The sheet's 3/4 view shows the Spider Tour Red from behind: an all-red square frame with a smooth crown and no sightline, two round silver weight ports at the rear corners, a white TaylorMade bar on the toe-side wing and a short slant neck entering on the heel side.
What to check before using the reference
- The 2016-copyright sheet pairs the Tour Red (Jason Day) and Tour Black (Dustin Johnson) builds; both are right-handed with a short slant neck, a 38° toe hang and no sightline, and the inserts differ (softer Surlyn on the Red, firmer 80/20 on the Black).
- TaylorMade's 2018 sheets re-list the Spider Tour head with L-neck, small slant, double bend and center-shaft hosels at 3° loft; those builds are on the 2018 archive edition record.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
