Identifying the right model
- The sheet's Original Monza photo shows the black anodized mallet from behind: a large red oval CGB panel across the rear, two red tungsten-filled pipes running forward either side of a white sightline, a small Rossa shield on the toe-side wing and a double bend shaft on the heel side.
What to check before using the reference
- The 2005 Monza Putters sheet also lists the Mezza Monza (340 g, gold anodized; TaylorMade's 2004 Mezza Monza sheets call it 15% smaller in face length), the Monza Mid and Long (375 g and 440 g oversize heads at 1.5°) and the Monza Corza; those are different heads and are not rows here.
- TaylorMade's 2003 Monza sheet lists the original at 71° lie and 33–35 in; left-hand builds are marked for the double bend model only.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
