Identifying the right model
- The sheet describes a satin white head, also offered in black, with sliding split weights on a front track. The sheet also lists a 4° loft sleeve, so the loft printed on the head can differ from the current setting.
What to check before using the reference
- TaylorMade's asterisks on the 9.5°, 10.5° and 12° rows mark lofts also available in black; the 14° row has none.
- The 9.5° row lists a 45.5 in men's length only; the 10.5°, 12° and 14° rows add a 44.5 in women's length.
- The same sheet lists an R15 TP driver in the same four lofts at 460 cc, 45.5 in only.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
