Specifications by configuration

Identifying the right model

• The black sole carries a grey PING wordmark, SFT lettering near the toe and a yellow G430 badge near the heel.
• Match the full model name and any suffix (MAX, LST, SFT, HL, Stretch) on the head as well as the printed loft.

What to check before using the reference

• The table gives the standard setting of each head. PING lists ±1.5° of loft adjustability, so the hosel setting on a used club can change its loft and lie from these values.
• PING also sells a lighter G430 SFT HL version with the same loft options; its page lists 3-wood: head weight 210 g (standard 216 g), swing weight C7 (standard D0); 5-wood: head weight 214 g (standard 220 g), swing weight C7 (standard D0); 7-wood: head weight 218 g (standard 225 g), swing weight C7 (standard D0). Check for the HL marking or build label before using the standard values above.
