How to identify this generation
- TOUR FORGED CB runs along the lower back of a shallow cavity with an M monogram near the toe and a Toney Penna signature on the hosel.
What to notice in the specifications
- MacGregor publishes the same loft, lie and length for the Tour Forged MB; offset and bounce differ. Check CB or MB on the back of the head.
- MacGregor’s current US store page lists these specifications; it does not state a release year. MacGregor also publishes offset and bounce, which are not charted here.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
Read our loft guide for a worked example of comparing the numbers, and our used iron checklist before relying on a seller's description.
