Identifying the right model

  • A chrome cavity-back wedge with 56 stamped at the upper toe, cobra lettering in the cavity above a textured insert and KING-X lettering low in the cavity toward the toe.

What to check before using the reference

  • Cobra’s footnote marks the 48°, 50° and 52° heads RH/LH* (left-hand custom only); 54° to 60° are listed RH/LH.
  • Bounce is 10° from 48° to 54°, 14° at 56° and 12° at 58° and 60°; Cobra calls the sole a progressive teardrop grind on a cavity-back head with a TPU insert.
  • Cobra’s product address names this the 2025 version (king-x-wedge-2025); the page itself states no model year.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
