Identifying the right model

  • A satin chrome head with 56 and 10V stamped at the upper toe, cobra lettering above a textured band across the back, KING lettering at the heel end of the band and fine milling across the upper back.

What to check before using the reference

  • Cobra sells the same head in satin (KING Wedge), KING Black and KING Raw finishes; the three pages publish identical tables, so the finishes are grouped in this record.
  • Left-hand builds are listed only for the Versatile (V) grind from 50° to 60°; the Drop (D), Widelow (W) and Tour (T) grinds and the 48° V head are right-handed only.
  • Cobra’s product address names this the 2025 version (king-wedge-2025); the page itself states no model year. Cobra describes the head as MIM 8620 steel with four grinds.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
