How to identify this generation

  • A chrome 7-iron back with cobra lettering across a black badge, a carbon-weave panel beneath it, AEROJET lettering low toward the heel, PWR BRIDGE lettering on the upper back and red, white and blue stripes at both ends of the badge.

What to notice in the specifications

  • Cobra publishes the same lofts, lies and lengths for the LTDx irons (2022 US page), a different head.
  • Cobra’s archived page heads its "STOCK SET COMPS" list with 5–GW (RH/LH, S and R flex) and 4–PW (RH, S flex) in steel, while its variant selector offers 4–PW and 5–GW sets in both hands with steel (R, S, X) or graphite (Lite, R, S, X) shafts; offsets run from 5.4 mm (4-iron) to 1.0 mm (GW, SW).
  • The photo is the archived Shopify rendition of the page’s product image (capture of 2025-02-11); Cobra’s live CDN no longer serves the file.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.

Read our loft guide for a worked example of comparing the numbers, and our used iron checklist before relying on a seller's description.
