Identifying the right model
- Adams’ photo shows the 3 hybrid from the sole: a silver sole with an orange IDEA PRO badge and the loft 20° in the centre, ADAMS GOLF lettering above it and 3 Iron stamped toward the toe.
What to check before using the reference
- Adams numbers these hybrids 1 to 5 and stamps the number as an iron number on the sole (the photo reads 3 Iron); the 5 hybrid is right-hand only.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
