Identifying the right model
- Adams’ banner photo shows the Pro Black hybrid from the sole: a black sole with an IDEA PRO BLACK badge between two copper-coloured strips, a round weight port on the heel half, the 9031 code low in the centre and the 20° loft at the top near the hosel.
What to check before using the reference
- Adams lists these hybrids by loft (16° to 26°) on an Aldila VooDoo 85 g or Matrix Ozik 95 g shaft; the 26° head is right-hand only.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
