Identifying the right model
- Adams’ photo shows the 3 hybrid from the sole: a red sole plate with a white a3OS badge in the centre, ADAMS GOLF lettering and 3 Iron stamped above it toward the toe.
What to check before using the reference
- Adams numbers the a3OS hybrids 2 to 6 and stamps the number as an iron number on the sole (the photo reads 3 Iron); every head is listed in both hands.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
