Identifying the right model
- Adams’ photo shows the Pro Gold hybrid from the sole: a silver sole with ADAMSGOLF lettering, the 20° loft toward the toe, a round weight port in the centre, an IDEA PRO GOLD badge toward the heel and TOUR PROTOTYPE above a yellow sole strip.
What to check before using the reference
- Adams numbers these hybrids 1 to 5; the 5 hybrid is right-hand only.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
