Identifying the right model

  • A black sole with Tour Edge HOT LAUNCH on a grey panel at the crown edge, orange stripes, an orange MAX MOI block with a screw at the toe, E525 on a carbon-pattern panel in the centre and the loft printed 3 15 by the hosel.

What to check before using the reference

  • The listing’s footnote says right hand. Tour Edge’s Hot Launch Max fairway table repeats the 3-, 5- and 7-wood figures; the E525 adds a 17° 4-wood.
  • Tour Edge’s certified pre-owned Hot Launch E525 Women’s Fairway listing publishes the same four heads, lofts, head sizes and lies at 42, 41.5, 41 and 40.5 in (1 in shorter) with a UST Mamiya Helium White shaft; it is a women’s stock build of this head, not a separate model.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
