Identifying the right model
- From above, the same compact navy blade-style head as the 805, with a white stripe across the centre and short flanges, but with an L-neck where the shaft enters a rounded neck at the heel.
What to check before using the reference
- Tour Edge lists the 806 with a L-neck, 35° toe hang hosel, right-hand only, at 365 g in both stock lengths.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
