Identifying the right model
- A 56.10 S Grind: SM6 lettered above a sun logo at the toe, BV wings under the Titleist script, S GRIND stamped toward the heel and VOKEY DESIGN on the hosel.
What to check before using the reference
- Titleist’s SM6 table lists 21 models from 46.08 to 62.08 with a 64° lie and F, M, S, L and K grinds; it prints no swing-weight or finish columns, but the page text lists 46°–62° as RH/LH in Tour Chrome, Steel Gray and Jet Black.
- The table has no bounce column; bounce is read from Titleist’s loft.bounce model code (58.12 = 12° bounce).
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
