Identifying the right model

  • LIGHTNING TOUR lettering, without MID, runs along the toe edge of a black carbon-look sole, with a round weight port and a slotted weight by the hosel; the hosel reads 9.

What to check before using the reference

  • PXG lists 8° and 10.5° as right-hand only; the 9° head is offered in both hands.
  • The Tour shares the Lightning drivers page with the Lightning Max 10K+, Lightning Tour Mid (60° lie) and Lightning Max Lite heads.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
