Identifying the right model
- A black sole with a carbon-look panel inside a silver-edged chevron frame, 0311 lettering beside a slotted weight by the hosel and three round weight ports (one at the toe, one beside the slot, one next to the PXG logo); the hosel reads 10.5.
What to check before using the reference
- PXG’s page lists the 8° head as right-hand only; 9°, 10.5° and 12° are offered in both hands.
- The same page carries separate tables for the Black Ops 0311 Tour-1 (58.5° lie) and Black Ops 0311 Ultra-Lite (189 g) heads; they are separate records.
- PXG publishes the same loft, lie, length and head-weight rows for the 9° to 12° heads as the Lightning Max 10K+ and 0311 XF GEN6 drivers, and for the 8° to 10.5° heads as the Lightning Tour Mid driver, all different heads.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
