Identifying the right model

  • A black sole with a carbon-look panel, LIGHTNING MAX-10K+ lettering along the toe edge, a round weight port beside the slotted hosel weight and another next to the PXG logo; the hosel reads 10.5.

What to check before using the reference

  • The Lightning drivers page carries separate tables for Lightning Tour Mid, Lightning Tour and Lightning Max Lite; they are separate records.
  • PXG describes an adjustable multi-port weight system but publishes no hosel loft range on this page.
  • PXG publishes the same loft, lie, length and head-weight rows (9°, 10.5° and 12° at 60°, 45.5 in, 203 g) for the 0311 XF GEN6 driver and the 9° to 12° heads of the Black Ops 0311 driver, different heads.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
