Documented specifications & build options

Individually sold crossover / driving-iron heads, not a full iron set. Lengths are PING’s standard build in inches, converted from fractional inches (39 1/4" = 39.25"); PING’s footnote says the steel-shaft standard length is 1/2" shorter than the graphite length. Lie angle is PING’s Black colour code at standard length.

Identifying the right model

  • A matte-black head with a white PING in the upper cavity bar, iCROSSOVER lettered low on the back toward the heel, a round screw weight in the toe and the club number on the top edge above the toe.

What to check before using the reference

  • PING’s iCrossover hosel is adjustable with eight marked settings (PING’s Trajectory Tuning); the loft and lie figures are the standard setting of each head, and the equivalent-iron / equivalent-fairway labels in the rows are PING’s own gapping guide (2-xr = 2-iron / 4-wood).
  • The listed stock shafts are all graphite; PING’s footnote says a steel-shafted build is 1/2 in shorter than the graphite length shown.
  • PING’s page says the iCrossover blade lengths are slightly shorter with less offset than its previous crossovers, the standard shaft lengths about 1/4 in shorter, and the sole shaping similar to the i230 irons.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
