Identifying the right model

  • A chrome cavity back with the ZOID logo on a raised central panel, TRUE lettered low on the toe side, a Mizuno wordmark toward the heel and the club number at the top.

What to check before using the reference

  • The US-site timeline labels this head 1998-2000.
  • The linked chart lists a 35° 7-iron and 48° pitching wedge.
  • The source range is 1 through LW; it describes listed specifications, not the contents of every retail or used set.
  • Mizuno’s timeline lists this head as “True”; the head carries the T-Zoid logo above the name.
  • The chart labels its 51° wedge FW. FW is kept as the source’s wedge label; it does not identify a fairway wood.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
