Identifying the right model

  • A silver cavity back split by raised ridges, with the red-and-black T-ZOID logo on the upper panel and SURE lettered below it.

What to check before using the reference

  • The US-site timeline labels this head 1999-2000.
  • The linked chart lists a 33° 7-iron and 45° pitching wedge.
  • The source range is 2 through SW; it describes listed specifications, not the contents of every retail or used set.
  • Mizuno’s timeline lists this head simply as “Sure”; the head carries the T-Zoid logo above the name.
  • The chart labels its 50° wedge FW. FW is kept as the source’s wedge label; it does not identify a fairway wood.
  • Mizuno’s T-3 chart repeats every Sure loft with each lie 0.5° flatter; the heads are different models.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
