Identifying the right model
- Mizuno’s B6 model image shows the parts of the head apart: a wide wing-shaped mallet back section with a central white sight line between the wings, the forged face block with its hollow sole cavity, two round sole weights and a bent shaft.
What to check before using the reference
- Mizuno’s page lists Zero Torque, Plumber, Slant and Bend necks for the family; its table identifies each model by a letter and an offset description only (B: Full Shaft +, S: 3/4 Shaft, P: Full Shaft, Z: Onset).
- Mizuno lists the S6 in right- and left-hand; the B6, P6 and Z6 are right-hand only.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
