Identifying the right model
- Mizuno’s Z2 model image shows the parts of the head apart: a rectangular milled back section with a white sight line, the forged face block with its hollow sole cavity, two round sole weights and the zero-torque neck shaft.
What to check before using the reference
- Mizuno’s page lists Zero Torque, Plumber, Slant and Bend necks for the family; its table identifies each model by a letter and an offset description only (B: Full Shaft +, S: 3/4 Shaft, P: Full Shaft, Z: Onset).
- Mizuno names the 2 head as one of two shapes added to the M.Craft X family for 2027 together with the zero-torque Z neck; the table also lists it with the B, S and P necks.
- Mizuno lists the 2 head as right-hand only in every neck.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
