Identifying the right model

  • A black wide blade with a copper-trimmed cobra badge in the rear cavity, 304SS lettering on the toe end of the flange, a white sight line and a single-bend shaft.

What to check before using the reference

  • Cobra’s Vintage line reissue of the Widesport blade with a single bend (0° toe hang); right-handed only, 370 g at 34 in and 360 g at 35 in.
  • The MIM Widesport is a different head with its own record.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
