Identifying the right model
- A white-finished half mallet with HUNTINGTON BEACH SOFT lettered across the sole, two blue alignment bars, MODEL 11 OPTIMIZED MILLING along the face edge, 11 on the rear flange and a slant-neck hosel at the heel.
What to check before using the reference
- Cleveland lists this head only on its women’s putter page at 32, 33 and 34 in; no men’s Huntington Beach SOFT 11S page is on the live store, so the women’s page is the sole source.
- The newer HB SOFT 2 Model 11S is a different head with its own record.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
