Identifying the right model

  • A large mallet with two long rear prongs and a cut-out between them, HB SOFT 2 and 15 lettered on the sole, MODEL 15 OPTIMIZED MILLING along the face edge and a single-bend shaft.

What to check before using the reference

  • Cleveland’s footnote says putter shafts 35 in and over include a 20 g counterbalance weight.
  • Cleveland also sells an HB SOFT 2 Black Model 15 (black finish) on its own page without a specification table.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
