Identifying the right model
- A chrome hollow long iron with a black APEX badge carrying two screws on the upper back, UT lettered beside it toward the toe, and Callaway script with the chevron in the lower cavity toward the toe.
What to check before using the reference
- Callaway lists offsets of 2.3, 2.2 and 2.0 mm for the 2-, 3- and 4-iron and D1 graphite / D3 steel swing weights.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
