Identifying the right model
- A chrome hollow long iron with APEX UT lettered toward the toe, Callaway script and the chevron in the centre, a round black weight port on the upper back toward the heel, the loft (18) stamped on the topline and FORGED on the hosel.
What to check before using the reference
- Callaway lists graphite and steel swing weights by flex (D0/D2 graphite, D1/D2 steel) for all three heads; the table is from callawaygolf.com’s 2016 capture of the 2014 model page.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
