Identifying the right model

  • GTS2 (red 2) on a silver sole bar with weight pads at the toe and heel ends, and 15 printed near the hosel.

What to check before using the reference

  • Titleist lists GTS2 fairway heads at 13.5°, 15°, 16.5°, 18° and 21°, right- and left-handed; GTS3 starts at 15°.
  • Lie is left out of the rows: the table prints 56.0° for the 13.5°–16.5° heads (57.0° at 18°, 57.5° at 21°) while the page’s footnote says 56.5° is the standard lie for GTS2/3 in the A1 SureFit position.
  • The page footnotes women’s length as 1 in and junior/youth length as 2 in under standard.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
