Identifying the right model
- GT1 (red 1) on a silver bar across the sole with a weight screw at the heel end of the bar and a round port at the toe end, and 15 printed near the hosel.
What to check before using the reference
- Titleist lists GT1 fairway heads at 15°, 18°, 21° and 24°; the 13.5° and 16.5° columns of the shared table belong to GT2 and GT3.
- The page footnotes women’s length as 1 in and junior/youth length as 2 in under standard.
- GT1 3Tour (14.5°) is a separate head with its own page and record.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
