Identifying the right model
- Sole view with r7 XD RESCUE lettering (XD in red) over TaylorMade script, a red sole panel toward the heel, three raised ribs at the rear and a 4 by the hosel.
What to check before using the reference
- The sheet lists a single 22° 4-Rescue (114 cc, 61°, 39 in) in right- and left-hand at D0, with a RE*AX 55 Uniflex shaft (62 g) and a TGT grip; it shares the page with the r7 XD fairway woods.
- TaylorMade describes Draw-Weighted Technology, a shallow face and a T-shaped sole.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
