Identifying the right model
- Sole view with r7 quad lettering and an HT suffix beneath it, TaylorMade script, four TLC ports and 9.5 at the heel; TITANIUM is printed along the crown edge.
What to check before using the reference
- TaylorMade describes the HT as a shallower, wider-faced r7 quad for a higher launch angle and spin rate; it shares the 400 cc volume, 59° lie and 45 in length of the r7 quad, with left-handed heads at 9.5° and 10.5°.
- The stock shaft is the M.A.S.² 7-55 (TS, S, R, M; 55–58 g) at D3, with an M.A.S.² 7-50 L flex and a TGT 62 grip on the same sheet.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
