Identifying the right model
- Sole view with r7 DRAW RESCUE lettering, TaylorMade script, a yellow heel-side sole panel, three raised ribs at the rear and a small weight port by the heel.
What to check before using the reference
- The men’s table prints graphite and steel lengths (40 to 38.5 in and half an inch shorter) at D0 for 19°, 22°, 25° and 28° heads of 110 to 122 cc; the 28° 6-Rescue is right-handed only. The women’s table lists the same four heads right-handed only, 1 in shorter than the men’s graphite build at C7 with a RE*AX 45 L shaft on a Winn grip.
- TaylorMade describes Draw-Weighted Technology, a head 12% larger than the Rescue Dual and Rescue Mid, a T-shaped sole and RE*AX 55 graphite (S, R, M) or T Step 90 steel (S, R) shafts.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
